Luxury Apartments To Rent In London Are Increasing In Number

London is a wonderful city and a perfect holiday destination for all those people who want to explore the many aspects of a city that was founded in Roman times. It is a very busy place and is cosmopolitan, with people of many different races living here, so there are many different cultures. In fact, the population is approaching the 9 million mark and the city is alive 24 hours a day.

If you are one of the 19 million visitors to London every year, you will need somewhere to stay, and many people do, of course, stay in a hotel. However, it is also possible to stay in one of the luxury apartments in London which are available to rent for short or long-term stays. These are actually increasing in number as visitors have come to realise the benefits of staying in one vis-à-vis a hotel.

Rent A Luxury Mayfair Apartment For Half The Price Of A Hotel

Have you ever thought about bringing your family for a holiday to London? It’s a great city – one of the finest in the world – and there is so much to see and do. Maybe you thought about it and then went online to check out the hotel prices. If you did, you probably thought it was way too expensive and decided to go somewhere else. In some respects, we wouldn’t blame you: hotel prices in London are expensive.

However, there is an alternative and that is to rent one of the luxury apartments in Mayfair, London. Many people are not aware that you can rent luxury apartments in Mayfair, London, but the fact is that you can, and what is even better is that they can be as little as half the cost of a hotel. Some London hotel rooms can cost £800 a night and considerably more, so if you are a family of four you are looking at about £22,500 for two rooms for a fortnight’s holiday.

But there are other advantages to renting a luxury serviced apartment. One of them is the amount of space that you get. Hotel rooms are small by comparison because the hotel wants to get as many guests into the building as possible. When you rent an apartment, you are getting something that was originally designed for someone to live in, so it has bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a reception room, and maybe a separate dining room, which is a whole lot different from living out of a suitcase in a hotel.

No, you can’t just pop down to the hotel restaurant for dinner, but you CAN just pop out of your apartment to any one of dozens of famous restaurants, so what’s the difference – apart from the fact that they probably charge less than the hotel? Furthermore, if you are staying for any length of time you need to get your laundry done, and in luxury apartments in Mayfair, London you can just do it in the washing machine and dryer as you would at home.

When Visiting London You Have A Choice Of Accommodation

When you are visiting London you obviously need somewhere to stay. You may be coming here on business or it may be for a holiday, but either way you need a base at which to sleep and eat. Of course, you may have a relative here who has a spare room, which would solve the problem –unless you are bringing the family. Otherwise, you need to rent a hotel room.

Or do you?
Many people are unaware that there is an alternative, and that is a choice of Mayfair apartments in London. Yes, there are people who own private apartments or blocks in which there are apartments and let them out to visitors to the city on the same basis as a hotel. In other words, you can stay for a night or two, or you can stay for several months.

Luxury Serviced Apartments Furnished Personally By The Owners

Carlton Court is situated in the heart of Mayfair and contains five London luxury serviced apartments. These sleep from two to six people and are available for short or long term rent as required.

The apartments have been furnished personally by the owners, working on the basis that they would choose the furnishings that they would want if they were going to live in Carlton Court themselves, and are thus in the absolute best of taste. You could not get better furnishings if you stayed in one of the (very expensive) hotels in Park Lane just a few yards away.

In fact, you are far better off in Carlton Court because, despite it being much less expensive than a hotel, you have the living space entirely to yourself.

A London Hotel –V- A Luxury Apartment

When visiting London you obviously need somewhere to stay. If you have relatives or friends here who have a spare room then that problem is solved, but most of the 19 million visitors each year stay in hotels, largely because they have no idea there is an alternative.

Hotels in central London are expensive. There is no other word for it. You can easily be looking at £800 a night for two. Stay for twelve months and you will have spent enough to buy an apartment in one of the suburbs of the city. Fair enough, you are probably not going to stay for a year, but it does give you an idea of just how expensive hotels can be. Furthermore, it is not only the cost of the room. You also have the cost of eating lunch and/or dinner in the hotel restaurant, and if you want to relax in the bar buying drinks there.

So what is the alternative? Put simply, it is to rent a luxury apartment London. Yes, you can rent an apartment in the centre of London for considerably less than you would pay for a hotel. The only real difference is that you have to cook for yourself, which means doing your own shopping, and do your own laundry, but the apartment will have a washing machine and dryer so that’s all the same as you would do at home anyway. Not only that, if you can’t be bothered to cook dinner you can simply eat out at one of the very many restaurants in London.

A luxury apartment London provides you with a place that you can call your own for the duration of your stay. Hotels are all very well, but living out of a suitcase can get very tedious after a couple of weeks – or even a couple of days. Another advantage of a luxury apartment London is the amount of space. In an apartment you will typically have about twice the amount of space you would have in a hotel bedroom. You can also invite guests around for the evening, which you can’t really do in a hotel bedroom either.

Things To See and Do In Mayfair

Mayfair is one of the most affluent areas of London and gets its’ name from the May Fair which was actually held every two weeks for 100 years until it stopped in 1764. Today, there is plenty to do in Mayfair, including visiting one of the many art galleries and museums in the area which include the well-known Royal Academy of Arts.

The composer Handel lived here and it is where he wrote The Messiah. Jimi Hendrix also lived here with his girlfriend in Berkeley Square and wrote some of his most famous songs. You can visit both their houses.

The Ideal Place To Stay In Central London | Boutique Serviced Apartments in Mayfair

Whatever your reason for visiting London, whether it is on business or for pleasure, you will need somewhere to stay. London has a population of just under 9 million people, but is one of the busiest cities in the world because it has 19 million visitors in a year. That is an awful lot of people looking for somewhere to stay, which means that finding a hotel room for the exact duration of your stay can be difficult.

Of course, it does somewhat depend on the length of your stay. The longer you are going to be in London, the more difficult it can get. You might be able to get a hotel room for a couple of weeks, but you actually need to stay for six. This can mean that – even though you may be able to stay in the same hotel – you may have to change rooms two or three times which can be extremely tedious, to say the least. Worse still, you may not be able to stay in your first choice of hotel and have to move to another.

London Is A Spectacular City To Visit

Visiting London for a holiday is not something that most families do every year. Indeed, some families may only ever do it once and others a handful of times during their lifetimes because it is the capital city of England, and the largest capital city, in terms of population, in the world. As a result, it is an expensive place to visit. It is not something that the average family could do every year.

Nonetheless it is still THE place that many people want to see when they can afford it. Let’s face it: London is a spectacular city with an awful lot going for it that you won’t find anywhere else. There is so much to do and see, and the shopping is out of this world. Then you have things such as the Trooping of the Colour, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Tower Bridge, Madame Tussaud’s, Regent’s Park Zoo, Lords Cricket Ground – the list is almost endless. Whatever “turns you on”, as the saying goes, you will find in London. No wonder so many people want to visit.

Of course, finding somewhere great to stay when you visit London is paramount. Many people – in fact, probably most people – simply opt for a hotel and think no more about it. Certainly, there are some very good hotels in Central London, but a much better option is to find a luxury apartment to rent. When you rent an apartment it is much as though you are staying in your own home because you do not have all the “chatter” and multitude of people that you do in the big London hotels.

Depending on the size of your family you might need to search for 2 bedroom apartments or 3 bedroom luxury apartments Central London, but you will be surprised at just how convenient and luxurious many of these are. Many of them are fully serviced, which means that you don’t have to worry about cleaning, or even making the beds when you get up in the morning, as a maid will come in and do all that for you.

All you do is do a bit of shopping to get your food – unless you want to go out for a meal in one of the fabulous London restaurants – cook it and eat it, as you would at home, then relax and watch the TV in one of many different languages, play Scrabble, go online on your high speed broadband, or do any one of a number of other things that you fancy. Maybe put the kids to bed, get a baby sitter and go out to a show.

Really, what could be easier?

Oh, and a luxury apartment will cost you a LOT less than a hotel!

All The Comforts Of Home In A Luxury Mayfair Apartment

If you are coming to stay in London from abroad, the first thing that you need to do is to decide where to stay. That seems a pretty obvious statement, but it is nonetheless true. Where you decide to stay in the city will depend on what you need to do – whether you are here on business or on vacation, visiting friends, studying – and how long you have to spend in the city. If it’s only for a couple of nights, then one of the city centre hotels might do, but if it is any longer you would do well to consider luxury apartments in Mayfair, London

Many people don’t stop to think about this and just book into a hotel as a matter of course, wherever they happen to be going. However, the simple fact is that there are luxury apartments which are as good as – and in many respects far better than – a hotel and they have the added benefit of being less expensive too!

When we say they are better than a hotel, one of the first things to look at is privacy. In a large London hotel you could be in a building housing several hundred other people all from different backgrounds, speaking different languages, having different expectations, wanting to eat different foods, and so on. Now there is nothing wrong with all that, and London welcomes people of all different nationalities and cultures. But when you have your own luxury apartment in Mayfair it literally becomes your own for the duration of your stay. You might be staying for a week or for several months, but when you get back at the end of the day it is all yours to enjoy on your own or with your family or your friends. Just you and no-one else.

And when we mention the word “luxury” you just won’t believe how beautifully furnished these Mayfair apartments are. In most instances they have been fitted out by their owners who will have arranged things according to their own tastes. Mayfair is not a cheap place to live, so you can guarantee that property owners there have sufficient income not only to buy the property in the first place, but to furnish it in the best possible taste. The very finest furniture and carpeting will be found, along with paintings adorning the walls and luxury bedrooms with king sized beds.

TV is in every room, of course, (and many apartments provide it with multiple different channels and languages), as is high speed broadband, air conditioning, a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and more. You get all the comforts of home for far less than you would pay for a hotel.

If You Are Visiting London, A Serviced Apartment Is The Way To Go!

If you are visiting central London, whether on business or for a holiday, and whether you are on your own or you are bringing a family with you, there are a couple of ways that you can go about staying in the city.

The first, quite obviously, is that if you have friends in central London you may be able to stay with them. That’s fine, if they have enough space to put you up. Of course, if they don’t then you really only have two other options open. One is a hotel – which is the first thing that would spring to the minds of most people - but the other is to stay in a private apartment.

Many people would not think of the second choice since it probably never crosses their mind, but it is quite possible to lease luxury serviced apartments central London whether you are staying for just one night or you plan to stay for several weeks or even months.

Yes, even in the centre of one of the most densely populated cities in the world, it is still possible to lease an apartment for your stay, rather than using a hotel.

Why Lease An Apartment?
Why lease an apartment? There are a number of benefits of leasing an apartment in central London, not the least of which is that it will almost certainly cost you less than it would to stay in a hotel. The next of these is that, for the duration of your stay it is “your” home. You are there on your own – or with your partner or family – and that is it. The building is not full of hundreds of people coming and going all day (and night) long. To all intents and purposes your apartment is your own.

Certainly, there may be other apartments in the same building, but there will not be very many, and it is likely that you may never even see any of the other occupants. It is just like living in any other apartment building anywhere else.

Another big plus in leasing an apartment is that it will almost certainly be a lot bigger than your average hotel room. Let’s face it, the average hotel room is a bedroom together with an en-suite bathroom, and that is about as much as you get, unless money is no object and you can afford to rent a whole floor. With an apartment you will get a bedroom, a bathroom, a fully fitted kitchen, and a living room, and in central London you can guarantee that it will be furnished in a luxurious manner. That’s just with one bedroom. Many apartments that are available have two or three bedrooms.

Of course, most apartments come with high speed internet access, TV’s in every room, concierge/security 24/7, air conditioning (believe it or not, even in England it can get quite hot in the summer months, and more so in central London because buildings are close together and absorb the heat of the sun), housekeeping seven days a week – so you can forget about cleaning, dusting, and changing the bed linen – and some apartments also have parking available either in an underground car park or somewhere close by.

What else?
Oh, you don’t have to conform to the rules and hours of a hotel: you can come and go as you please. You get to cook as you would at home, so you have your own choice of menu and are not restricted to whatever the hotel management has decided (you know the feeling: “Oh it’s Tuesday, so it’s lamb chops again”: however much you enjoy lamb chops, it can get tedious after a few weeks).

No Extras
And here’s another thing: there are no “extras”. In a hotel, everything is an extra. Want Wi-Fi? That’ll be extra. Room service? Of course Sir – that’ll be extra. Drinks cabinet? Extra. Car parking?  Extra. Don’t even consider the prices that they charge in the bar for drinks – they are through the roof. (In your own luxury apartment you bring in your own wine or whatever and just pay shop prices). Then there are “service charges” and gratuities on top of all that!

Look for a serviced apartment in central London. You’ll be glad you did.
