A One-Bedroom Apartment Is So Much Bigger Than A Hotel Room

It’s true: a one-bedroom apartment in Central London is so much bigger than a hotel room, and you have more space in which to relax. At Carlton Court we have five apartments, two of which are one-bedroom apartments. Not only do you get more space, but one of our apartments will cost you considerably less than a hotel in Park Lane which is only a couple of minutes’ walk away.

We are located just off Piccadilly in Down Street, and if you want to go for a morning stroll or a run, Hyde Park is just the other side of Park Lane, while Green Park is just off Piccadilly almost opposite Down Street. In fact, in Hyde Park you could go for a morning swim in the Serpentine, and you can even ride a horse from the stables in Rotten Row. All that, right in the heart of London!

London Is A Spectacular City To Visit

Visiting London for a holiday is not something that most families do every year. Indeed, some families may only ever do it once and others a handful of times during their lifetimes because it is the capital city of England, and the largest capital city, in terms of population, in the world. As a result, it is an expensive place to visit. It is not something that the average family could do every year.

Nonetheless it is still THE place that many people want to see when they can afford it. Let’s face it: London is a spectacular city with an awful lot going for it that you won’t find anywhere else. There is so much to do and see, and the shopping is out of this world. Then you have things such as the Trooping of the Colour, Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Tower Bridge, Madame Tussaud’s, Regent’s Park Zoo, Lords Cricket Ground – the list is almost endless. Whatever “turns you on”, as the saying goes, you will find in London. No wonder so many people want to visit.

Of course, finding somewhere great to stay when you visit London is paramount. Many people – in fact, probably most people – simply opt for a hotel and think no more about it. Certainly, there are some very good hotels in Central London, but a much better option is to find a luxury apartment to rent. When you rent an apartment it is much as though you are staying in your own home because you do not have all the “chatter” and multitude of people that you do in the big London hotels.

Depending on the size of your family you might need to search for 2 bedroom apartments or 3 bedroom luxury apartments Central London, but you will be surprised at just how convenient and luxurious many of these are. Many of them are fully serviced, which means that you don’t have to worry about cleaning, or even making the beds when you get up in the morning, as a maid will come in and do all that for you.

All you do is do a bit of shopping to get your food – unless you want to go out for a meal in one of the fabulous London restaurants – cook it and eat it, as you would at home, then relax and watch the TV in one of many different languages, play Scrabble, go online on your high speed broadband, or do any one of a number of other things that you fancy. Maybe put the kids to bed, get a baby sitter and go out to a show.

Really, what could be easier?

Oh, and a luxury apartment will cost you a LOT less than a hotel!

1 Bedroom Apartments Are Available In Central London

London is arguably the greatest capital city in the world. Its’ financial centre is on a par with Wall Street, and it has a history which goes back to Roman times and before, which is certainly longer than New York. It has museums, art galleries, parks, theatres, some of the best restaurants in the world (if you believe Gordon Ramsay, THE best restaurant in the world – his!), bars, nightclubs, and much more. No wonder so many people visit London – 19 million last year, and counting.

If you are just stopping by for a couple of days, there are also some great hotels. The London Hilton, The Dorchester, The Savoy, The Ritz, The Connaught, to name just five.

However, staying in a hotel can get very tedious if you are here for any length of time. “Oh, good. Today’s Thursday, so it’s Beef Wellington again”. Beef Wellington is great but you don’t want it on Thursday every week.

This is why so many people who are going to stay in London for any length of time choose to search for a private apartment in which to stay where they can do their “own thing” and live much as they would at home. Where they can come and go as they please, cook what they like when they like, stay in and watch TV, or go out and visit a typical English pub. (There is nothing on the planet quite like a typical English pub).

Of course, if you are visiting London on your own or just with your partner you will only need a 1 bedroom apartment Central London, but you will be glad to know that there is a choice in Mayfair in the centre of the capital. Many of the apartments to lease are a minimum of two bedrooms, and some have as many as five, but there are still some really lovely luxury bijou apartments available which are ideal for a single visitor or a couple, and at a great deal less than you would pay for a Central London hotel room.

All of these apartments are furnished in a luxurious manner with the very best furniture, curtains, carpeting, king sized beds, and more. Many have fine original oil paintings on the walls, and it goes without saying that they have fully fitted kitchens with a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, freezer and more; luxury showers; TV available in many languages; high speed broadband; and all of the modern conveniences that you would expect in the 21st century. You will also find that most apartments have a full maid service and 24 hour security.

If You Wish To Stay In London With The Family You Can Rent A Luxury Home In Mayfair

If you are looking for a house to rent central London you may be coming to the city on business or for pleasure. Either way, you probably understand that renting a house is so much more relaxing than staying in a hotel.

Another very big advantage if you are visiting on business is that you can invite business colleagues or customers to a house that you are renting in order to talk business, which is very difficult to do if you are in a hotel. Most hotel rooms are not very big – after all hotels want to cram in as many guests as they can – and discussing business affairs in a bar or lounge is not something that most people would want to do. When you have your own “home” you can do anything that you want to do, including holding a business meeting.

Most of the houses that are available to rent in central London are furnished as luxuriously as a hotel, and very often more so. Everything that you would find in a hotel you will also find in most houses, such as high speed internet, the latest HDTV’s, music systems, pleasant living areas, air conditioning, and more. You also have your own fully-fitted kitchen where you can cook whatever you wish, whereas at a hotel you are limited to what the chef or management decides upon.

Renting a house when you have a family will work out at considerably less than staying in a hotel. What’s more, the kids can play in their own bedrooms without fear of upsetting the neighbours. You really do get the best of both worlds: London is on your doorstep, yet you have all the facilities you have at home.
