Serviced Apartments In Central London Beat A Hotel Any Day!

When you come to London – whether on business or for pleasure – you can obviously stay in one of the many well-known London hotels. If you are only staying for a couple of nights this might be quite a good choice, but when you are staying for longer it can become quite stressful in a London hotel. Part of the problem is that they are so big and have so many people constantly coming and going that it seems as though you are living in a huge dormitory.

Your other alternative is to book into one of the Central London serviced apartments that are available. The accent here is on the word “serviced”. With most of these, such as our apartments in Carlton Court, you get the same – or even better levels of service than you would in a hotel. We provide a 7-day housekeeping and maid service so that you never have to lift a finger.

Anyone Visiting London Must Not Miss Hyde Park

When visiting London for a holiday one of the things that you really must do is to visit Hyde Park. Together with Kensington Gardens adjoining it on the west, it is the largest green space in London and measures 1.25 miles east to west and half a mile north to south. Henry VIII took it over in 1536 and made it a Royal deer park, but it was opened to the public 99 years later in 1635 by Charles I. It includes the Serpentine lake which is used for swimming and boating, and on the north side of it is a bird sanctuary.

The main entrance to the park is called Grand Entrance and is a triple archway built in 1828. Close by is a statue of Achilles cast from captured French cannon and erected in honour of the Duke of Wellington. You can also see the Diana Memorial Fountain.

There Are Only Three Ways To Stay In London

If you are coming to stay in London there are really only three ways of doing so..

First, you can stay in a hotel. Second, you can stay with a relative or friend – assuming you have one who lives in London. Third, you can rent an apartment and make it your “own” home for the duration of your stay.

Now it is true that the majority of visitors to London (all 19 million of them every year!) don’t have a relative or friend who lives in the city, although a few do. Even so, that relative or friend may not have enough in the way of spare bedrooms to accommodate you and your family, or even just one spare room if you are visiting on your own. That leaves most people with the option of staying in a hotel – because there is nowhere else to stay, is there?

Are the Central London Serviced Apartments Suitable to Business Professionals?

Business people coming to London for a predetermined period of time face a difficult challenge: unless their accommodation is already sorted out, they need to pick something by themselves – something which must satisfy so many criteria.

The quick route
When doing business in London, time and punctuality are of utmost importance. Once you find yourself in the big city, you realise that you have to cover impressive distances. If, let's say, your hotel is in the Western side of Zone 2, you will then have to cross the entire Zone 1 to reach the financial district. The best way is to search for accommodation in Central London. There, you will have plenty of transport links and you'll reach your business place quickly.

Flexibility and freedom
London hotels are fascinating and offer so much, yet these may not be a too flexible option. This is why more and more business people choose Central London serviced apartments. However, when you have an erratic schedule, it's best to know that you can have a meal by yourself in the intimacy of your own apartment.

Consistent luxury
Both the area and the serviced apartments feature a high level of luxury. The design and the furnishings reflect the British high standards charm. These places are spacious and offer comfort. It is even possible to set up a special work area – like a home office. Besides all that, you will be immersing yourself in the best of London. In addition, living there can be unexpectedly quiet, as there are big lush parks around the residential areas.

Ideal balance
You will be staying in Central London, in the vicinity of all important spots. You won't be getting a house in a faraway neighbourhood, nor will you be staying in a regular hotel, obliged to have all your meals in a restaurant. Centrally located studios or suites are simply ideal for a business trip.
