Advantages Of An Aparthotel In Central London

When visiting London today, many people will choose to stay in a hotel, but hotels in central London can be – and usually are – extremely expensive places. Some charge up to £900 per person per night, and that is just for the room. Everything else is an extra – drinks from the minibar, drinks in the main bar, meals, car parking (if available at all), and more, are all charged as extras and the bills can mount up very quickly indeed.

This is why more and more people are choosing to stay in an aparthotel, Mayfair, Central London, when visiting the city. These provide the amenities that you would get in a hotel, but you stay in a self-catering apartment within the building. This can considerably reduce the cost of staying in Mayfair, since you cook your own meals and you can do your own laundry as you would at home.

You also have your own reception room or rooms, the latest TV’s, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and bedrooms to sleep the number of people that are in your party – often with king sized beds. The maid service takes care of changing the beds and cleaning the apartment in the same way that a hotel does. Some aparthotels also provide flowers, and you will have a 24 hour concierge and security service. You will usually be provided with a direct dial telephone service so that you won’t have to go through a switchboard, and of course your phone bill is an extra in the same way that it would be in a hotel.

Since you buy in all your own food and drinks you will make a serious saving over a hotel on those items, even though they cost a little more in Central London than they would elsewhere.

A Private House To Rent In London Offers You The Privacy You Need

Mayfair in London is often called the “heart” of London, and with good reason. It is in the centre of the city geographically, and it absolutely rocks! You have everything here – restaurants, bars, nightclubs, Savile Row tailors for the men, world class auctioneers in Bond Street who regularly sell pieces worth millions that may have been discovered in someone’s attic and turn out to be by Rembrandt, Hyde Park just across the road where you can picnic, ride a horse, or just go for a morning walk – the list goes on and on.

Londoners regard their home city as the finest in the world – all eight million of them. As far as they are concerned it beats Tokyo, New York, Paris, Rome, Los Angeles, Singapore, Honolulu, and more, out of sight. Everything in Mayfair is within walking distance. Yes, you can get a taxi, but the traffic is so difficult that you will get there quicker by walking! Who wants to sit in a queue of stalled traffic when you can walk?

As for the shopping……….!
Words fail us. You have Harrods, which is probably regarded as the finest department store in the world, Selfridges, John Lewis, Liberty, Fortnum & Mason, Fenwick of Bond Street, Harvey Nicholls (known to the locals as Harvey Nick’s), and Debenhams, and yes, they are all within walking distance too.

Then there are things like Regents Park Zoo, Madame Tussaud’s, The British Museum, Nelson’s Column, The Natural History Museum, Big Ben, The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Gallery, The London Eye – and if you are staying in Mayfair they are all on your doorstep.

If you like to visit foreign cities London should be at the top of your list. If you stay for a month you won’t be able to see everything.

Of course, finding somewhere to stay is crucial to your visit, whether you are here for a holiday or have been posted here on business. Naturally, many people will book a hotel. This might be all right for a couple of nights, but can get very tedious for a longer stay. Fortunately there are other choices such as Central London apartments to let, but if you have a big family or are in London with a few colleagues from work you may want to consider looking at Mayfair houses to rent. These are a considerably cheaper option than staying in one of the hotels and also give you much more privacy than you can get in a hotel.

They Are Worth Seeking Out
As you might imagine, houses in the heart of the capital city of the country may not be as easy to book into as a hotel since there are less of them. But nevertheless they can be found and they are worth seeking out. People or companies who own these properties are aware that visitors to the city want to spend their time in luxurious surroundings, so you will find that all these houses are furnished to a very high degree and have all the “mod cons” that we cannot do without in the 21st century. Chief among these are the latest TV’s, and most homes will have them installed with the latest Sky packages giving access to hundreds of channels in a choice of different languages for visitors whose first language is not English.

Another thing that we cannot do without these days is an internet connection, and almost all of these houses will have high speed broadband.

Many of the homes available to rent in Mayfair are fully serviced. This means that you don’t have to worry about changing the beds or doing any cleaning because a maid will look after that every day. Some houses in Mayfair also have a full time security guard and concierge available. Miracle of miracles, some even have underground car parking - in Central London!

So yes, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of the world’s busiest capital it is definitely worth checking out private houses to rent. You get to stay in a home that is all “your own” for the duration of your visit rather than in a big impersonal hotel, and yet you get all the same services for less.
