Renting
London serviced apartments in Mayfair is the ideal way to save yourself a considerable amount of money when visiting London, whether on holiday or on business. You can find apartments that have all the facilities of a Central London hotel, yet are half the price.

Well, perhaps not quite all the facilities, but that doesn’t matter. What you don’t get in London serviced apartments in Mayfair is a restaurant and a bar. However, you do get everything else, and in many cases an apartment is much more luxurious than a hotel room. For one thing you get space. Most hotel rooms are quite small – unless you book a suite at enormous expense – whereas in an apartment you live in a place that was designed as a family home for someone who was going to live in it full time. Hotels want their rooms to be small, because the more of them they can pack in, the more money they can make.
There is another thing that you get with London serviced apartments in Mayfair and that is privacy. You are not huddled together with hundreds of other people as you are in one of the big hotels. Your apartment is all your own for the duration of your stay.
As for meals and a bar, it really doesn’t matter. In some respects, doing your own cooking gives you the advantage of being able to choose what you want rather than being restricted to the hotel restaurant menu, so you have freedom of choice. Secondly, if you really don’t want to cook, in Mayfair you have dozens of restaurants, including Michelin starred ones, within a few minutes’ walk, and there is a huge choice of different cultures: Mexican, Italian, Spanish, Indian, Chinese, French, - you name it, they are there. You won’t get all that in a hotel restaurant.
As for bars, there are dozens of those also, and although they charge what are known as “West End” prices which are more than you would find outside London, they don’t even begin to approach what you pay in a hotel bar.
So yes, there are many advantages to staying in a Mayfair apartment as opposed to a hotel.
